I have a 2008 4Door LB TRD sport. Wile I'm back up my truck in the morning or after I back out and start to drive away. I get a shutter from the rear brakes. Like there stuck or something. only will happen one time then it does not do it all day. I clean out my drums and adjust them as need but still seams to happen. Does any one have thing going on? So over drum brakes!!

Are you sure it's the brakes and not the driveline? Sounds more like a driveline shudder to me...

almost 100% it is the brakes. When I'm backing out of my drive way I need no gas I'm ridding the brakes down my drive way. The drums will shutter then or just after i go forward.

My brakes work well and seem to be wearing normally.

I would try replacing all of the springs. It's a cheap fix (about $20). After that I would suspect contaminated brake linings or the surface of the drum has glazed over.

I seen drum that wear at an angle. The ID of the open end and bottom are different size. Typically the brakes wear to match the drum and it evens out - but reverse may cause the brakes to shift. Another reason to be sure and check and turn the drums when you replace the shoes. On the vehicle I saw, the brakes were new and the drums not turned - so it caused a clicking sound as the brakes were applied and the brake shoe rode the taper in the drum.
