 Allergy season is officially here for me...I must now live vicariously through you all on your camping adventures for the next month or so. Darn pine tree and sagebrush allergies! :frusty:

Anybody planning any trips for this weekend?

Have you looked at getting Allergy tested? I am allergic to all kinds of stuff. I am doing allergy drops (place these drops under tongue) once a week. My allergies were HORRIBLE! I am talking runny nose, blood shot eyes, looked like I was crying all the time.... I take the drops and I have been completely fine since then. They are great. I don't even have to take meds on top of the drops. You should definitely check in to it!

    what'd you get?

Drops? Never heard of drops before...
And I've done the allergy tests. My doc told me that I had one of the worst reactions to pine that he's ever seen! The good news out of that experience was that I'm not allergic to as many things as I thought but what I am allergic to is very severe - mainly pine, sagebrush, mold, and a couple of weeds. Pine and sagebrush = 98% of the land area of MT :( so no outdoor activities for me during peak pollen season. :(:(:(

I have an appointment on the 13th to see my allergy doc. He's never seen me at my worst so I plan on going out the night before and inducing myself into an attack...then he can see me in all of my sniffling, sneezing, bleary eyed glory.

Italy?!?!? :jealous:! If it were me I don't think I'd be in a hurry to get back....

Well today my Gerber LMFII saved my life...kinda. I worked from 0800 to 2000 today, thats a long day. I was on my way home and I way a man, about 6'0 maybe 230 lbs waving frantically for help. I thought maybe someone was hurt and I could use my skills to help. I stoped and asked "Is everything ok?" He said "my mother is stuck on the interstate and I need a ride and fourty-five dollars to pay the wrecker bill." I said "I really cant help you with the money, but i can give a lift close to the interstate 85." Not having a mother kinda made me feel bad and I wanted to help. He gets in my truck and im talking to the guy and he seems like a real level headed, down to earth guy. then about 4 miles in he want me to pull is a drive way so he can talk to some one for help. I assumed ok he knows these people. (NEVER ASSUME, IT MAKES A ASS OUT OF U AND ME) we get down the drive way and two dogs start to bark at us. He said, "Im not gettin out with the dogs can you honk your horn?" I asked, "Do you know these people man?" he ssid, "no". I said sir I am not gonna pull into someones drive way and honk my horn at 2100. (im from a big farm county where a lot of people dont like black people) he wanted to go ask for money. So i back out the long ass drive way and proceed closer to the gas station i was going to take him to. He said well can you take me to a church so i can get some help? i said sir no church is going to be open at 2100. he was abviously frustrated at this point and wanted to go places and do thing i wasnt going to do. so i said sir i will take you to the gas station, that is all. he started to argue with me about it. at this point my body is on high alert and im watching every move he is making. I said sir its either a ride to the gas station or you can exit the truck. He continued to try to reason with me. I said I cant help you anymore sir please get out of my truck. He didnt want to get out. I said sir i have a weapon, i really dont want to have to pull it out, and i will if i feel inanyway endangerd. He STILL continued to reason with me. Faster than i ever have before, i steped out of the truck and pulled my LMF II and said please get out now. he was shocked a 5' 10" white guy was doing this and got out quickly said he was sorry and walked the opposite direction as fast as a 230lb man could. this is why i always have a weapon with me.

What kind of flashlight is everybody using? I'm looking for a new one. I currently have a heavy maglight and a surefire. I'm wanting something in between to take camping/hiking with me. I have a headlight but it kinda gets on my nerves at times. I'm wanting one that is handheld, nothing to fancy but not to cheap. I'm looking for everybodys opinions. Thanks for the input.

I've been building this thing as an expo trailer. Just need to skin the sides and build the tailgate, lid and fenders

I got a hitch from adventure trailers. Called the max coupler. It rotates left and right, up and down and swivels. basically rotates on the x,y and z axis using bushings with grease zerks
