Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
I think. Dark enough that the shop that did mine didn't offer a receipt. :)

i've been pulled over for my tint once but nothing was done because the officer didnt have the tint darkness reader. probably just looking for something else to get me on. at night the only issue i have is backing up at night. especially when its wet out and its harder to see, but i just roll the window down and prob solved.

It really was quite the fail on my part. I would have been laughing at me. It was honestly the first time I've ever even tried to "Off-road" in anything. I will definitley try it again. I learned a good amount from watching Neil drive around. We all have to start somewhere. A little bit more experience and some weight in the back should help, I can make it up the way it sits now.

On a sad note, the truck fund took a 100% hit this evening, and not on truck related items. Rachael's cat started hobbling around pretty bad, no weight on her back leg, she's at a 24 hr place right now. Poor cat...poor, poor truck.

I got pulled over twice, the first time I was speeding too and he was like your windows look pretty dark lets check them. The 2nd time the officer had nothing better to do. He pulled a u turn and weaved in and out of traffic to get to me just for tint. I'm pretty sure it's the windshield that catches their attention. If you go dark on your windows but not the windshield you should be ok. At night the back windows are hard to see out of, the windshield and side windows are fine.

I would LOVE to have what I had before, but only as a 2nd vehicle... Not a daily driver!! I'm looking for a mild lift (not a 6" lift like my last one) and no bigger then 33" a/t's!

I was going to lower my last one, but it wasn't worth it! It had 165k on it, and wanted to start fresh with one with less miles!

5% on my windows all the way around except windshield.

Mom has 35% all the way around, doesnt get hassled.

I got tagged once for tint, told him its tinted because I dont like people seeing me, I dont like my truck being hot, and the UV rays from the sun destroys my fire gear.

He said ok see ya later

x2... the front strip really is an attention grabber.

Same thing and haven't had a problem in the 5 years I've owned the truck.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I was shocked that nothing broke and everything still functions properly.

I agree with staying mild on something you drive every day.

    Dang 5% is darker! I

will probably leave the strip off up front. I don't really see the need for it anyways. Im thinking it will look even darker with the black interior.

My back and my side ext windows have 5% over the factory tint.

I never have any issues with it.

That's usually true here as well. But with the "cop tint on my cop car" I have noticed that they ignore me. I blew the doors off a state trooper the other day he didn't even shift in his seat.
