    Hella stuff
Looked pretty bad at first, but i'm assuming no SRS or airbag stuff went off, which can quickly total out a truck.
However, taco's, at Copart and IAA salvage auctions have really, I mean really high salvage value, like 50%, so if your truck is worth around 18k, the body shop and insurance company can throw 9k into it to fix it.
Your insurance company should pay extra for the custom grille and labor for BHLM, but they probably won't, but that doesn't mean that you can't go after the other insurance for the BHLM and the satoshi grille.
All in all, if your insurance company can throw $9k at it, they'll total it out at $8k because they'll find extra damage throughout the course of the repairs.
That definitely looks like at least $8k in damage, but it always depends if the parts are OEM, the labor rate, etc. etc.
Good luck, but it looks like a total, and if I were in your shoes, i'd probably push for a total, also do you have Farmers Insurance, that's what I got and they really overpay on their total losses. :D

They might fix that and not total it, TACO's hold their value...I was sideswiped/T-boned bya 16 year old driver running a red light
2 years ago and they rebuilt mine...no frame damage.

Is it leaking fluids, will it start?

Damn, that sucks. If you have insurance/if its payed off, I would actually hope its totaled to be honest. Owning a vehicle that has been in a bad accident is a big no no foe me. Yes, I dont have the $$$ but still it is one of those things that would worry me. Hopefully things work out for you. Any pics of your moms?

You guys are too soft. I was riding with my friend once when a drunk driver hit us. He broke his wrist and had cuts on his face etc. He kept begging us to let him go and he would pay for the damages, etc so he wouldn't have to go to jail. We told him since he obviously didn't care about what his actions did to others we didn't care about him. As my friend called the police he tried to run so I tackled him and held him til the cops came. He went to jail and got charged with dui and attempting to flee the scene of an accident.

I don't know that it would be totalled automatically. It depends on your insurance company. If you were concerned about resale value, I would want them to total it out. If I were going to own it forever (which I plan on), and didn't want to try and get another truck (which I don't), do all my mods over again (which I won't), I would see if they could fix it. Since he was DUI, I would try and screw him for everything I could get. What I would reccomend doing, though, is to call my local Yota dealership, and find out who they use for bodywork. The only time I have ever needed bodywork done, that is who I used. It might cost more, but it is usually worth the additional cost. My '94 was rearended by some jackass txting on his cell phone, and when the body shop was done with it, you couldn't tell it had ever been hit. And they didn't replace the bed, they managed to fix the original one. Have them check the transmission, if it got hit as hard as you said, the case might have taken a shock, or have been cracked during the accident.
    Just my $0.02. :D

If the frame is bent it is an automatic total. Otherwise it will be fixed. Unless the damage costs more than the vehicle is worth & it doesn't look like it. It looks like $5000-$6000 in damage.
