My auto broker finally got my Tacoma in. Took him a few extra days but it is here at last. Now I don't have to barrow my dads old 83 van to get around town and to work. Can't use the M3 for little drives or for work now =P

    What I ordered:
    2008 Tacoma Double Cab
    4X4, Auto, Speed Way Blue
    TRD Package D

Already have put 200 miles on it in 2 fays and loving every mile. I had 4 cars and now am down to just 2 cars. For a DD, Scout car and tow car it is the best over all package.

    I have already ordered:
    AFE CAI
    C2C Hood Srut
    C2C Eyebrow covers

    Will post pics tomorrow

Congrats! I'm sure you'll love it. I love eyebrows on beamers but i've never seen them on a taco, make sure you post pics when you put them on. Which TRD package did you get? i'm not familiar with what "D" stands for

I may do the fiberglass eye lids I found on CustomTacos.com

Option D is every option you can get for the truck less the locking rear diff =)

I don't do that much hard core off road so did not need it.

Do either of you know if the OR Nav from Toyota would be able to be retrofitted to the truck with the double din kit?

How to install the eyelids? Does it impede the lights in any way? It seem like there is only a small overhang.

There's barely any overhang at all. It's just a cosmetic thing. On the older BMW's they make it look like the car is frowning at you... its a good mean look.

Here are the pics. She only has 300 miles on her as of the pics. Soon the modding will begin and she will be one bad ass truck.

I sold the 88 M3 as I did not have the time to rebuild it to Evo3 specs. I still have my 2002 M3.

Thats a shame about the e30. But like i said before, my friend had one and he literallly worked on it 3 weekends per month. Those old M3's are a pain in the ass to keep running

You have to do a lot to make the reliable. Euro spec at 2.5l can be made to be 350HP all motor. Though they tend to go Boom but man 350 HP in a little car with a 4:10 diff. Hold on to you booties kids.

I am working on getting a F430 so had to chose between money to fix up the car or get the new one.
