    John, are your fenders getting screwed up by rocks being thrown straight up into your paint? :eek:

    I'm not crazy about the stock flares either but they at least protect the paint directly above the wheels...

    not that i have noticed. i plastiderped the inner pieces anyways so they will scratch the PD before the paint.
    flexed it really good last weekend and im glad i removed the flare :p

    No. If I wheeled mine to the extent you do, I would be willing to accept that damage. For my DD, I keep it to the lighter trails and limited rock exposure.

    Mines a DD too... :) The armor helps a ton. I scraped the shit out of my rock sliders. I will post pics later.

    I figure a lot of FJs are. Only true ballers have an FJ as a weekend toy. Lol.

    I use the functions of the FJ for a variety of applications. Hard wheeling is one I can live without. Haha. Trail running is plenty fun and tests the tools of the FJ quite well.
