Well I hop on a flight to NY tomorrow morning at 6:00 am so I probably won't be on for another week or so. I hope everybody has a safe and happy 4th of July.

I just bought a performance accessories 3" body lift for my truck off of Amazon.com. I got 2 gift cards for amazon for my birthday and they were the cheapest place i could find at all. And i also believe people only read what other people say on forums and have no first had experience. I have been using them since i first started driving. One on my brothers toyota p/u on his friends T100 another on a late 90s tacoma and have never hand ay kind of issues AT ALL. Me and my brother even have just a body lift on our 87 toyota p/u to clear 33's and we beat the hell out of that thing and wouldn't think twice about driving it down the road. (and we have:)

I was thinking about getting one to get a little more lift out of my Taco.
Just bought shackles for the rear to raise it up a bit too.

Go for it man. People that bash them have no first hand experience. My buddy jason ran one on his jeep till he could afford his suspension lift and he wheeled that thing pretty hard. I think 3" is a little tall for my liking but 1-2" is perfect. Yeah there is a probability your cab rips off the frame... if you dont use grade 8 hardware but thats your own damn fault lol. Thanks for the imput pootermobile.

Yea I was talking to Colin and he brought up a good point too about my truck isn't long so I don't have as much twisting like your DC/LB, etc have so it wouldn't be as bad of a strain. Besides...if I lose the cab, it'll be one hell of a ride!

Yeah thats what I am thinking! I aint worried about my access cab. I think the 4crawler body lifts are made out of a material that actually flexes and takes the place of your body mount bushings. I am not sure I havnt done alot of research but I have heard from more that one person there body lifts and service are the shit :D I'll take all the lift I can. Fink you want me to bring those kc's this weekend?

Not sure if I can afford them at the moment.
I know RMBcrew was sorrta interested in some lights, maybe see if he would like them. If you don't get rid of them by next pay day, perhaps I'll scoop them up.

If I can get Colin to make me a roll bar or headache rack, then those KCs would be nice.

    Have a safe trip, jason!

unfortunately i don't have any local friends with 1st gens, so i'd need to see your truck to make a rack like that. if you make it to the ocala meet in august, i can make a template of your bed width and rails and make it off that no problem.

OR...hit you up on your beach day offer when you get back to SUNNY south florida.
Ocala is pretty far from me so I'm still stewing over that meet.
Also I saw this white DC LB that came into my job today with Virgina tags. Black rims, wanna say XDs, and a bunch of little stickers on the driver's rear window. Got a quick picture to see if you knew the kid by any chance.

Are there any beach down here where u need to offload to get too? I was in Hawaii one summer visiting my gfs family and there were countless beaches that were 4wd only.
