    So I need so help on back spacing, if I get 305/70 r16 its a 33 in tire. How much back spacing will I need to clear the brakes?

    4.5 back spacing....but from what I hear you will rub wheeling with a 305...I was going that route but decided on 285.

    The 265's are only 30's. the 285's are almost 32's, and the 305 are almost 33 more 32.8. How much rubbing and does the size from 16 to 17s throw it off any? Im going to sleep so we will have to continue this tomorrow night. Thanks for the input. And with the 4.5 bs will any of the tires come close to rubbing w/o spacers?

    two guys on here I found running 305's...they both said you needed a bit more than 3" lift. One said he was unhappy with all the rubbing....but at the same time there's a few running 35's :confused:
