    I want a puppy! I'm dog sitting my friend's german shorthaired pointer right now and he's being a complete angel. Shows me how much time I can actually devote to a dog in my current lifestyle. Makes living in an apartment not even rough on him.

    When I brought him home, I never thought I could handle him. Being a large breed puppy that depends on being outdoors alot really helps, because I get exercise and he wears himself out. He sleeps through the night and is very smart... if you think you can handle it, get one!

    What breed is he? He looks a little gangly for a half grown lab puppy. Something bigger?

    The GSP they say needs a ton of attention and a ton of outside time but going out for a mile or two walk/run two or three times a day seems to keep him plenty happy.

    He's a mutt who highly favors his lab side. The vet says he has Great Dane paws and metabolism. I feed him 3 cups a day and he looks like I barely feed him. If he grows like a Dane, I'm going to have a big ass dog....
