Is there an LED replacement for the two map lights?

I see there is an overhead dome light LED replacement. Which I ordered cause I like bright, white light.


Now I want to change the two push on map lights.

Is there replacement LED's for it?

 

Yup! I actually changed my whole setup a few weeks ago to all LED's. The ones for the map lights are only good for looks though. Don't work great if you are trying to read something and need good light. I am having issues with my 48-LED dome ones though. It looks like a few of the LED's went out! Not sure what happened! Any one out there have the same issue?

 

Yep. Check out http://superbrightleds.com I used the WLED-CW6 bulbs for mine. No complaints.

 

Are your replying "yep" that you agree you had problem with your overhead dome light and what you offer is the replacement.

Are you saying "yep" to my question of is there a replacement bulb to the two map lights?

 

I'm saying that those are the ones that I used for my map lights. I didn't have problems with my map lights just wanted something brighter. The WLED-CW6 LED'S did just that.

Yeah, it says dome light. Don't know if this is the same bulb as the map light.

Buy the WLED-CW6 as I did and you won't be disappointed.

 

I just did buy the WLED CW6, but it looke like neither of the two you posted. I looks like a single LED.

 

Hey how bright is that longer dome one? I might go with that one instead of my 48 LED one that is breaking anyways!

 

It's pretty good and bright. I really like it.

 

I'm sure someone has already asked but what is the part number for that dome one?

i just install the map light led bulbs and they dont turn on.. i check the fuse box and nothing.. did i burn something or did i put the bulbs the wrong side or what.. let me know asap

 

Yeah with the LED's you have to put them in a certain way. Its either one way or the other.

 

Try flipping them in the socket. They'll only work one way.

For the map lights, I used these wled-whp9-t leds from superbrightleds.com:


I tried both these and the 5-cluster bulbs. These were much brighter. The fit is tighter with these as they press right up close to the lens, but it still works.
