check both... RDC is a much bigger forum than DR. i was just on race-dezert this morning and saw tons of bypasses for sale

    http://www.race-dezert.com/cgi-bin/trader/atl.cgi

i check the classifieds on both those sites almost everyday...lol

the good deals go fast, gotta be on top of the game

oh... and i was more refering to not skimping out and getting smooth body shocks instead of bypasses... you'll want air bumps too

you can make do with double bypass shocks... but if you can find some triple's go for it

yeah i check dezert rangers pretty often, only race-dezert sometimes. i dont have the cash right now to dump into shocks and stuff. hopefully by the time the cage is done i will be able to start on the rear LT.

dang... you weren't kidding when you said pre-school quality...haha. thanks though

the concept is simple, the hard part is working it into my current cage and making it look good and not like some half ass addition

yeah i cant draw for shit, i cant write for shit i cant do anything with a pencil for shit. thank god im on the computer for a living haha.

yeah thats what im trying to think of.... it would be really bard with incorporating it in your bed cage without it looking really narrow, but then it would look weird if the rack was actually wide and then it narrowed down and came back to the cage.. shit you have a predicament on your hands... haha

Use a "linear actuator" to raise and lower the light bar. They are less than $100 and you can raise and lower it (and slight adjustments) with a button inside the cab

i was actually really thinking about doing this. so when someone cuts me off i dont have to have someone climb out my back window to put my lights up so i can blind the shit out of them. i will have a switch!:D

well start looking haha. how much does a full cage cost normally? someone told me 15-20k front-rear? but that seems steep.

dirty dangler can you make a cage? if so how much front -rear estimate?

(im not interested in getting one because im already having someone fab me up one but just wanted to know what other people are charging)

helllllll no... thats way too expensive... a full tube chasis wont even run you that much unless it's a TT or class 1 maybe

$5K-ish for a front/cab/rear cage on a prerunner is what i would consider reasonable... depends on material being used and who's building it
