The Highlands are one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. And the Scottish people are wonderful...fond memories...hope to get back there some day.

There, and I want to go back to Ireland and road tour all of it. We did Dublin on St Patrick's Day about 16 years ago...funny thing was there seemed to be more Americans than Irish in Dublin that day. Never made it back to tour the whole country and I still regret it. Have an extra pint for me...eh?

London for a day is never a bad idea...even without the shops/plays/pubs, just walking around town people watching or strolling along the Thames is always enjoyable and entertaining.

Sorry for jumping in, but your planned trip brought back memories. We were stationed at RAF Mildenhall (hour north of London) from 1994 to 2001. Hope you enjoy your vacation! :)

Thanks you for fixing that :D I was about to say something.

And wierd. I wasn't expecting BC to be 5th on that list, or Sask to be 2nd, what the hell does Sask have thats worth so much??? and I think alberta only has 3.8 million people.

oooo ya, I read that uranium artical from last week. I guess theres more in the ground then just oilsands :D

Actually from all the industry rumours I've been hearing lately. With the new SAGD Tech thats been mainstreamed in the last 5 years, North West Sask is gearing up to have the next world boomtowns. The Alberta oilsands continue on underground east throughout most of northern Sask, the main issue being is that they have been at deeper levels underground, making open pit mining (The main method around here) to be VERY uneconomical.

i heard that aswell but what town will be the boom town? there isnt many people in northern sask. with all of the lakes (estimated at over 100 000) it will be a huge pain in the ass to get that oil out.
