If I have the LED break glass sensor, plugged into the connector, which was behind the 12v cig lighters, should it light up and flash, or do I have to do the free alarm mod first?

Only reason I ask is because I cannot for the life of me find the connector to unplug, there is one near the kick panel wrapped in tan foam tape, but the dealer put in a Karr alarm system, that I had to yank out, and don't know if they took the wire I needed to do this mod. I'll post some pictures of the connector.

Sorry for the ramble, just need some help

    Thanks

Mine lights up when armed. After I hit lock the LED glows sold for 30 seconds then flashes every second or two to confirm its armed. My connection for the glass sensor was behind cigarette lighter too. I did the free alarm mod, then added the glass sensor. I can't remember if there was anything else I did to get things working. I do remember removing the drivers kick panel, I think it was to adjust the sensitivity of something?

    Sorry I couldn't help more.

EDIT: If I recall correctly, the connector for the glass sensor is under the steering column, wrapped over itself. You'll have to cut the tape, then route it to the opening of your choice. I used an opening under my ash tray. I can take pics later on tonight if you want.

That'd be awesome if you could post some pics, I have wire looms there, and i opened them but can't find them, I'll open it up again tonight and take a look.
