Hello TW! This is a repost from my last thread that I introduced my self with, I got a friendly welcome from those who replied!

I have been looking to do Retrofit Projector headlights and have been looking at the retrofit source website. I know I want to do the Morimoto mini projectors but what I am stuck with is all the different options to choose from. Would everyone that has Retrofit head lights post what you have, where you bought them, and all your options you chose. thanks so much!

Oh I know I won't be disappointed when I do it! My cousin just put a set on his Scion TC and they are drop dead gorgeous! and even on a tacoma they are just as good looking especially with the entire housing blacked out!

set oven to 300 degrees and turned it off. put light in oven for 10 min. take light out and start prying it apart. the only cutting was the reflector bowl and trimming on the shroud to fit on the projector

keep in mind this was for a fx-r projector. I dont know if you require cutitng the bowl for the mini or the diff projectors... but all projectors will require you to drill 4 holes into the bowl to mount it there.

Incorrect... There is a mounting ring on the Mini D2S as well as the H1. No cutting is required

Mine took me all day (approx 8 hrs)... This is including the time it took me to paint the bezel and let it cure

There is a little collar that goes around the projector and slides into the same slots that you normal bulb does. This makes it so that you don't have to dick with the rotation of the projector (adapter ring is only on D2S and H1).

there are days that i don't drive! so eight hours doesn't sound to bad! but since i have the smoked headlight housing I wouldn't need to paint them so it could be slightly less time!

Considerably. If you went the route I took and do not paint the bezels... I am confident (with even minor mech knowledge) that you could do it in about 3 hrs
