My name is Jason Lancaster and I'm the editor/administrator of TundraHeadquarters.com and TacomaHQ.com. Hopefully this isn't the first time you've heard of these sites! :)

If it is, then you should know that TundraHeadquarters.com has been an active site dedicated to the Tundra since 2007. TacomaHQ.com is less than a year old and still getting established, but I had some news today about the 2012 Tacoma that I thought I should share in the right thread.

Anyways, I'll be checking back on this thread and that 2012 thread, and if you have any questions about me or the sites I manage please let me know.

First of all, that might be the coolest damn footer signature I've ever seen. Mesmerizing...

Secondly, I've had a few conversations with people in and around Toyota today about the 2012 Tacoma and I'm sad to report that the 2012 is only a mild re-skin. Same engine options, same mechanicals, etc. - just a new grille/bumper.

Cool! A little valve/lifter noise is no biggie on a 200k mile engine - at least in my book.

Thanks! We post new articles just about every Tuesday and Thursday.

We also have a post on lift kits that I'm particularly proud of here: http://www.tacomahq.com/66/tacoma-leveling-lift-kit/

Thanks! I've heard a number that's really, really far into the future on the 3rd gen, but I'm not 100% sold on that.

I've also heard of a new V6 next year (very credible source).

What I can tell you with certainty is that Toyota won't be making any major changes to the Taco until 2015 at the very earliest. We'll see a new Tundra before we see a new Tacoma.
