I paid cash for my truck, and own it. I wash and wax that shit myself. I treat my truck like a member of my family. I get pissed if I find a new scratch on it, or see someone in a parking lot getting to close to my truck. Im ready to brawl over my rig!!

I have always loved washing and waxing my cars/trucks. It just sucks now that I live in an apartment they don't let me wash it in the parking area... I normally get it washed at a drive thru carwash and then wax/detail it myself. I can't wait to move back into a house with my own damn driveway!

It is relaxing and it feels good to look at it all shiny. But then as I drive down the road I wonder where that turn off leads too?

I used to wash my truck on a weekly basis. Vacuum the interior and everything.

Nowadays it's lucky to get washed 3-4 times a year. I just don't have the time or a place to do it.

Right my trucks got a few months worth of road trips and off roading on the paint. The interior is full of dirt and sand, looks like the beach on my driver floor board. If I don't rain on my next day I off I really wanna clean the truck up.

I hate washing my truck, so I take it thru the scratch-o-matic once a week. I have gotten interested in detailing and have spent way too much money on stuff from http://www.chemicalguys.com. I like my truck to look as shiny and new as possible, even if it's almost six years old now.

Wax mine on the regular and just clayed it a couple weekends back but I live in San Diego and its detailing weather year round, and I am a part-time mobile detailer, haha.

Nothing better though than driving with your arm out of the window and feeling your super smooth paint after a clay/wax. U have to enjoy the little things from the hard work we put into our trucks.

Well im out of San Diego and Im a detailer so I buy from auto beauty products. They do have a web site, I use a satin creme sealer wax on bentleys, lambos, bmws and of course the Tacoma once a month.

Got the same problem as others here.

Got my truck about a month ago and the first thing I did was get it clean and put two coats of wax on it. Waxed the door jambs this weekend. Usually put the ballgame on the radio and get 3 or 4 hours alone while I get it cleaned up. Not afraid to get it dirty, just like it cleaned up.

I am using P&S Ultracoat wax with a polymer urethane paint sealant as a basecoat (2 or 3 times a year) and XPress wax liquid carnauba polymer wax on top or about once a month.

As far as Ms. Reid goes, if you get a stack of lawn chairs and charge ten bucks apiece to watch her wash your truck you could probably just buy a new one when the old one gets dirty.
