87k miles too late to switch to synthetic oil?

    I have used mobil 1 full synthetic in my past two vehicles and have been pleased with it. I just bought a 2006 Tacoma 4x4 double cab with about 87k miles. It has had conventional oil in it since new, but I'm thinking of switching to mobile 1 full synthetic.

    I know there's a few different schools of thought out there on this...

    What's your opinion?
