In regards to Versteeg. Good move for Flyers, id do the same for a second round pick.

Nice off-season acquisitions for the Jackets. Now it's time to show it in the standings...

 

Oh man I really hope the Kings can get Richards!!! That would make 2 incredibly solid lines, and a third energy line, plus our solid goaltending and solid defense, wow we'd be a real force. Please Brad, please!!!

 

Handzus eh? Gonna take a little time to get used to him in teal.

 

He's good, old but skilled and great at clearing the puck during penalties. Something that the Sharks can take advantage of honestly.

 

I am kinda on the fence about him. I think he'd definitely put our offense over the top. But, on the other side hes got what 3 maybe for more productive years left. His cap hit is gonna be monster plus where would you put him? Kopi or M. Richards aren't gonna play on the 3rd line.

 

I'm happy to see the activity from my Oilers today. I think we've made some serious strides in the past week. I believe the expectation (at this stage of our rebuild) is that we're still a season or so away from playoff hockey - but with the moves lately, it would not surprise me to squeek in this coming season.

All in all, I'm pretty excited for the season to start!!

He's not that old. I agree, I'm a bit reluctant also, especially since he's not going to sign for anything other than a long term deal. I personally think Brad Richards as wing, to kopitar and williams, mike richards, with brown and penner on the wings, and stoll as center for the third line, with maybe Loktianov and idk. Fourth line, Clifford and Richardson on the wings for Lewis. That's where I'd put him, first line, playing wing to Kopi. After all, he won the conn smythe in lightning, playing as a winger.

Marco Sturm is an old loser honestly. During his short stay with the Kings, the best thing he did was get injured and allow Loktianov to make the Kings lineup. But you never know, they say he's fast, and I've seen him skate really fast during his short stay with the Caps, but as a King, he was a complete joke.

 

I'm feeling kinda....wtf...over that one

gonna back MG one more time...hoping he has a trade in the works that's gonna add a badass power forward to the 2nd line...

team got weaker in the last 48hrs...but it's a long summer of trades ahead
