went offroading today at bald mountain with easy to medium steeps. my first time actually doing real offroading with 4wd. before i only do trails, now maybe its time to upgrade suspensions lift? some pictures may be little too light.

last month, there were still snow hitting about 4 inches. but those snows are whats left only. you can still see snow in the shaded areas where sun doesn't hit much. elevation is about 7000 ft.

thanks! i was multitasking because i was the driver and camera man. didn't have a partner to go with me to take pictures so i had to do it myself. at some parts, i wasn't able to take pictures while crawling up the hills. so i miss those parts, wish i retake those moments. there's alot of other trails over shaver lake that people go there. you just have to find offroader guys and ask them. it was my first time offroading there so i dont' really know the area too well. although i always go there too. sorry if i wasn't much of help.

yes it is, if you go all the way to the top, you will find a shad about 20 ft high and you will see the overview of shaver lake and the mountains surrounding the lakes.

^ yes it is. Love the pics. I miss the lakes. Haven't been there in a couple of years. I assume this is close to that life tower structure that overlooks shaver? For as many times as I've been up there, it was only in 2009 that I discovered some trails at one of those ski parking lots at the very top of the road passing the lake. Hoping to head back this year. Prerunner friendly? I hope so. Thanks for sharing.
