There's also a 2001 Tacoma V6 Xtracab 4x4 going for $6,800 on Craigslist from a private dealer. Either the pictures don't tell the real story (and its really a POS), or the guy doesn't know that he's selling it for about $4k less than he should. The '01-'04 still sell for $15k or more in some dealerships!

Not yet, was shooting for friday but I will probably be there sat. I've been lookin at the RCD kit too but I'm not too keen on cutting up my crossmembers. Someone should get it done and let me look at it

Those soft shells do look awesome, but I've already got my hard shell and wouldn't want to trade it.

I know the rack looks awesome with the shell on. But how do you guys like it with the shell off?

Reason I ask is if I went with a rack, I'd get a tube front bumper. If I don't go with a rack, I'll get a plate. All in all, it works out to similar pricing and weight between both options.
