    its actually cooled down to about 113* at my house. My Weather sticker thing takes the temp at "Tempe Botanical Gardens", which is a few degrees cooler than my actual location.

    So in other words, it was a nice cool 95* at your place? My intake temp on my truck (Sitting over night, and started this afternoon) was 147.4* Engine temp was 148*. Didnt take long to "warm it up" at all :p

    hey Curt! Thought you might be interested in this little story, as well as all you other fine folks :)
    Went to home depot today, and then did some off roading in my buddys Chevy 2500 HD. We just put a new Fox Suspension on it (Thanks DSM!! :) )......anyway, We took a break, and went to Chilly's for lunch. When we came out (2:30 PM) His engine temp was so high, it went into "Limp mode" right after we started it up. 15 seconds later, it went into emergency cut off! JUST FROM HEAT SOAK! :eek:
