Looks good to me man. Goes good with the Black paint on your taco. I'm thinking of painting mine the same way. Got a nasty dent from a hit and run and want to cover it up better.

Started setting up my expedition rack. Welded some threaded rods to the rack so i could mount the hi-lift. Then positioned the tire for a mount...

Well i needed a new rack so i bought a used one (middle) turns out to be a junkpile:rolleyes: Although it atleast has useable outer tie rods. Soo then i obtained a junker tundra rack, because it was there guess ill scrap it. Finnally the brandy new rack i bought yesterday. Going to hopefully change it out this weekend (unless the sailing bug bites to hard).

I very nearly picked up a canopy of my own for about that price last week. Only problem was my parents got me a toolbox for my birthday :spy:

I would be very interested to know how you did this. I'm trying to do the same thing but want to know if there is a wire I can splice into under the bed of the truck rather than running one directly from the battery. Thanks.

Its actually better to run it straight from the battery, that way you dont have to have the ignition on whenever you want to use the light.
I thought about splicing into another wire, like trailer wires. But turned out the wiring back there was all screwed up, i just cut it all out and ran a new one straight to the battery.

That's what I figured. I wasn't sure if there was a wire somewhere on the truck that is always hot. I guess I can just run it from the battery and up into the tail light assembly. I have some wires coming out from there right now that are supposed to be powering the break light in the shell, so I can follow those up into the bed.
