    Thanks!

Yeah my other two mals were only about half that size when they were that age and grew up to be around 85lbs.
I hear ya on the "boss" situation, the little fellah growled at me when I put my hand in his food bowl last night. He learnt pretty quickly who was running the show. Was fine with me when I did it again this morning.
I believe soy is overrated at times, I know they need real substance and nutrients in their food.

Speaking of that. I just got this thing called a "Furminator" from Amazon. It works like a shedding blade but is about the size of a brush. I have to say, it works great so far. Riley is constantly shedding and leaving furballs everywhere. So far, I've furminated (is that a word?) him three or four times and his coat looks great.

It's a bit spendy at $60 but you can find them for around $36 for a large one.

It's not really a lack of nutrition. Malemutes have a propensity for being allergic to soy.

That's interesting. I didn't know they'd be allergic to something like soy.

Ah okay, wasn't aware of that. I had no intentions of ever feeding him soy or soy based food though so it's all good. :)

he might have been a little groggy. He has a huge underbite. I only have a few pics of him without his front teeth showing. We call him our little retard, but he is actually really smart.
