ok. I got a 06 trd off-rd xtra cab.I got the TSB leaf springs, and billstiens 5100s all around.Front set at 1.75.great setup! But now i've added a CBI front hitch, and 9.5 winch with syn.rope.And i need a little more suspension. What do you guys think of just adding 1.5 AAL, and set the fronts to 2.5??I think i'll be happy with this.I do mild off roading. Also i see when i hit the search button, that it is 50/50 split on upgrading to new upper control arms.I don't plan on going any higher. Also running stock wheels, with Duratracs.(great tire)!Just trying to hear from guys with this setup. If i really need the the new UCA's,then i will buy them and do it right.Ok,thanks for any input. TW seems to help alot people on hear, great community.

Your rear leafs should be fine (AAL?) but you need to address the front really, with the added weight you need slightly heavier coils(Eibachs/Toytec, OME's etc;) to accomodate said extra weight, increasing the ride height isn't going to accomplish much except for kind of a weird ride I'd think, example: added weight + increased preload + no increase in spring rate = harsh ride with "nose diving" during braking & in making turns also = really weird ride ?????

Yea I got stock shocks and springs on my front end with an ARB. I've gotten used to it and it's not too horrible but I REALLY NEED to get some OME 886 and Nitrochargers.

well i was under the impression that if you stay under 3in.of lift you retain most of your relieabilty, and of course less breakage.Anybody got any pic's?I'm also not changing tire size(265/75/16).Ain't the billstien's load compression type of shocks?I really thought going up to 2.5 would help.I understand they ain't like stronger coils, but i would think it would help.
