Headlight top outer light

How do you turn them on. I can't figure it out.

Those are your parking lights. They come on with your headlights as well as the "dot" setting. If they aren't coming on, the bulb is probably burned out.

 

They aren't coming for either setting. I put in HID's I don't think that would mess it up...

 

Because they are so seldomly used, I never noticed they were both out. The dealer has told me on several occasions in the past that I had lights out, and not wanting them to charge me $60 to change a light, told them I would I'll take care of it, only to get home and I can't find any lights out. For the longest time I assumed they were just reflectors.

Now the answer to your question, as said before the middle dot on your light knob, or just when you turn your headlamps on they should be on.

 

Highly doubt that would do it, unless you blew a fuse, but then your headlights wouldn't work either. Pull the bulbs and see if they are black inside. If so then you need new bulbs.

i also have hid's but those lights are still working so im guessing yours are burnt out

 

What type of lights are they so I can buy new ones?

EDIT: it says 2827/168 lower down the list so idk which it is...i would use the 2827

 

They are not listed in a Sylvania lighting catalog, you have to pull them and take them somewhere.

It's listed as the front side marker light.

 

^^^This looks correct to their online catalog. When I went to several autoparts stores and Walmart and looked in their guides, it said the lights vary, hence VVV I just changed mine a week or two ago.

 

I just tried to remove the top outer lights and I took the wire connecting to it off, but couldn't remove the light... Do you have to twist? or pull it straight out?

 

Twist, same as the others.
