    I've been wondering the same thing. I'd like to take off some badges, plasti-dip the rest.

    on my truck I'm thinking about de-badging, plasti dipping the tacoma's on the side and the sr5 on the tailgate, and once I finally get a satoshi grill, just putting the toyota in the bottom left corner :)

    I think it depends on the color of the truck. Some look great plastidipped and some look great debadged. The important thing is that you have a TACOMA!!!

    I voted debadge, but I'm not sure considering the year of your truck- it might be a PITA to polish, the paint is probably very faded in comparison to what is behind the badge at this point.

    I thought the plasti-dip junk doesn't hold up very well over time?

    I sanded mine and painted them flat black with krylon rattle can, then followed up with a rattle can clear coat... extremely clean job for rattle can. Have about 6 thousand miles on em in the last two weeks and no chips or signs of failure.

    I plasti-dipped the rear bumper, it looks awesome and has held up great so far with several thousand miles on it.
    I also regular painted the badges black and followed with clearcoat after and even though they looked great off the truck, it looked like crap on the truck, on my color anyway. I took them off and went with sockmonkeys...much happier now.
