Truck looks great! The 285's are the ticket. I am going the same route with 5100's all around but going to run an Icon 1.5 aal in the rear...hopes this gets me perfectly level with a better ride than a block. What tires you running?

 

Yea l went with he block because I thought 1.5 was too much plus it was cheaper. Those Are definity Dakota m/t from pep boys.

 

Well I am sure it rides better than that pro comp.... jk

True.
but I will take the added height over the ride quality

 

I highly doubt that 1" will cause axle wrap, the issue is with those 4" block

 

Very true can't get it all when money is tight

 

Update I have chopped the heck out of some plastic, I am taking revenge on that noise!

Seems like every time I fix one spot, another area rubs

 

Looks like you rub the cab mount a little.

 

Possibly but I have yet to even find the cab mount lol

 

The cab mount is the big metal piece on the left that is starting to turn silver because the tire is rubbing the black off

 

Damn thanks for bringing that to my attention. Going to have to pull out the grinder

I wonder why one side rubs the cab mount and the other does not

 

I will talk to a local fab shop and see what they can do

 

Yeah one of my sides rubs more than the other.
