Yep... time for an improved skid plate. I'm thinking something homemade and at least 3/8" thick. Maybe something like the plates on the Hummers.

How do you get rained out at the lake??? Bridgeport was pretty good today. I am going to rematch the trail that took out my skid plate once I get some tires. I did the line all sorts of wrong and I paid for it.

That was on one of the trails that go uphill at the powerline trails. Where the three real steep trails are at the powerline hill. This trail goes up hill into the trees and comes out by a pump jack. So - probably the one you are thinking of. I really tried a bad line on that one and almost rolled it backwards. :D

Yeah; I started slipping on the rocks and got really sideways. At one point Bryan was standing on my sliders to keep me from going backwards. I'm thinking a better line and better tires will make a world of differnce.

It did really good. I think the sway bar being off helped a lot as well.
Also did some playing around on the same hill as Byan and my tires definatly made a difference over the rugged fails.

I will be out of town the 16-17. Have fun in that jeep. Also some of the trails have washed out a little and are not the same so watch out.
