What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Well I'm still waiting on my rear OME shocks (on backorder) so i de-badged.

Lower ball joint and rear brakes so i can get rid of my nice bright rejection sticker!!

 

I paid $402 from (autozone):edit and when i return one of the old ones i get $63 bucks back. I chose this one because it was the cheapest one i could find and it came with a lifetime warranty and inner tie rods already installed on it.

 

I painted my front emblem and cleaned up the bumper...

 

grill looks great but you should try and polish your headlights. its pretty easy to do and it will looks 100x better imo

 

My OME rear shocks arrived 2 days ago. You should be getting yours soon!

 

That's next on my to do list. I saw a few different types at Walmart, but read that the 3M stuff might be best. Which did you use?

 

Im not the video is just backwards... stupid mac camera and I hooked it to the fuse box on the ACC fuse so it turns on with the ignition. But I just put a jump switch in and im gonna ground it to that so i can turn them on and off

 

Did this a few days ago. Eibachs/5100s and 3" leaf pack and 5125s

i think i used maguires? idk how to spell that but it was ok i think it was like $15 at oreilys and it came with everything i needed

Nice! Which Uhaul did you have install it? what did they charge you?

 

I installed it. Im surprised im not bleeding or knocked out right now because it was a pain.

 

Did it bolt on?

 

yeah, but you have to take the bumper off and kind of bolt everything on at once, and everything is really heavy.

 

Damn that would be a pain, how much was the hitch?

 

cheapest I could find was the Uhaul at $190.

 

That's better than I though it would be.
