I was actually kinda concerned that they may be too yellow to fix. $60-$70 is less than I expected, that's not OEM though right?

Today I did the "Deckplate mod" on my Taco!
Nice sound coming out of the front when I plant my foot down! It feels like I have more get up and go, but it could be the placebo effect! lol

Installed OE hitch i got from lildevil last night, was a little rough at first, following the how to post on here, the bumper brackets where to narrow for some reason when the hitch was installed to the frame, even with the bolts loose. So like ^ steve o said it was heavy as shit, so after 10 min, alot of fowl words, and throwing my big breaker bar, i got it on, thank god for that pin and bolt that can support it

yeah the space between the bumper brackets was too small by like 1/16" so I had to bolt up one side, then use a pry-bar to widen the gap enough to slip the bumper in. Major pain with just my 10 year old brother helping for that part.

alright now I just found that my rear drums were not adjusted correctly at all which caused one of my rotors to warp a little bit. Also all the pads are now glazed and the rotors have heat spots all over them. I got the rears adjusted up but it looks like its time for new brakes on the front.

I took the hitch off the frame and mounted it to the bumper, then mounted it back to the frame as a whole unit for some reason it worked fine that way, but my first thought was to try and pry it, glad i didnt take that route it looked like it would be a PIA

There is a nice upside to it though. I figured since I had my wallet out anyway I would just keep ordering parts until my credit card company stops letting me. :D
