    does anyone know if you need the iu200v in order to view video through apps too? or is it only for video on your ipod?

    do you need the extra iu200v cable to view video on app mode or is it only for video for movie on your ipod? basically can you view any video without it?

    i have the iu200v cable and it shows video and app. the only thing that i hate is that the cable uses up the usb and the aux, now i cant use the aux with my phone i can only use the ipod.

    I don't know for sure, but I suspect that all video output from the iSchtuff must come in through the AUX connector. The USB is only transfering sound files, while the AUX connection transfers the video output. Again, I suspect this is the case, but I didn't run any app mode applications before I got my iu200 cable.
