screw it i would go 3 parts simple green 1 part water. its not that strong. we used it on the boat all the time. just make sure that you rinse it out really good and you should be fine.

Ahhh shucks I prolly wont even measure! I'll eye it out. I shall rinse thoroughly. I just need a diagram of things to keep water away from. I know battery and alternator but is there anything else I should be worried about.

And why would anyone choose rotopax over jerry cans? Is it just space saving cause those rotopax are sick.

Also thinking about trading my truck in for a honda ridgeline

Thanks Bud, I live over on Salt Run. What about you? Thats a nice lookin truck! I just checked out your build up. Ill have to keep an eye out for it around town. I just moved back home from Hawaii and fell in love with the 2nd Gen's while out there. (they are EVERYWHERE in Hi.) anyway bought it from a buddy who got deployed. planning on doing a LT build. My best friend Chris drives that orange Ranger that cruises around.

you may be better off not diluting at all, just spray on with a bottle, let it sit for about ten seconds, and then rinse very well.

i like the rotopax for SUVs, where non passenger storage space is limmited and a wide jerry can creates departure angle issues hanging off the back. but for trucks, or on roof racks, i love the industrial style of jerry cans.

and uh, what prompted thinking of a ridgeline?

i totally agree with everything you said. simple green is biodegradeable, thats one of the reason that the coast guard uses it when we was our stuff down. you dont have to worry about it messing things up. but it still does the job real well.
as for the rotopax vs jerry can how much does the rotopax hold in comparison to a standard jerry can? i have two jerry cans in the back of my bed and i dont feel like they take up to much space, they fit perfectly infront of the wheel well

Meh I hear what your saying the rotopax are pricey but they hold like 5 gallons for I think 95 bucks. But colin made a good point they are for suv guys and stuff. I also like the jerry can look and how you had yours in the bed might just get 2 reg metal ones from northern tool.
