Alternator coil

    2 inch coil spacers up front, tsb rear, Kobalt toolbox, westin bull bar, driver seat height mod, jvc head unit, rag joint zip tie truss mod, 17inch alloy 4runner sr5 rims wrapped in 265 yoko geolanders, off road lights, uhaul hitch, tacoma seat covers, avs vent visors, debadged prerunner, mud flaps gone, scanguage II, glovebox shock absorber mod,flowmaster 40 exhaust,
    Lookin under my bay today. Here's an interesting sight. It appears that one of the coils in the alternator. The ones under the little holes (the metal ones, look at yours you'll see what I mean. )

    One of the coils appears to be sticking out of the coil. Interesting? You betcha. The piece is sticking clear out of the alternator. I have never seen this before.

    Tried. Too dark. Will try with a higher resolution camera tomorrow. My iPhone (5mp) couldn't quite get it. I'll reach down into the bay and give it a little tug

    Got it. Turned out to be a rather large twig thatsomehow got in there. Whatever haha. Now back to fixing my screwed up steering. Hahaha.

    In other news. Found 5 dollars in my truck today. Guess where it was???


    Behind the coin try on the left hand side of the cab near the door. You know the one near the fog light and other switches. :)

    Gotta love previous owners.
