Sockmonkey Graphics, K&N Drop In Air Filter, 265/75/16 Bridgestone Dueler A/T's, Weathertech Digital Fit Floor Mats, Dee Zee Bed Mat, Map Light/Dome Light LED's, Flo-Pro Muffler w/Stainless Steel Tip, Dome Light/Map Light Mod, Mobil 1 Synthetic Motor Oil, LED Cupholder Mod, Grillcraft with TOYOTA emblem, Vision 375 Warrior Wheels, Extra Bed D Ring Mod, TRD Skidplate, Bilstein 5100's on all four corners, Front 5100's set at zero with Eibach springs, Toytec 1.5" rear TSB add-a-leaf springs, Toytec swaybar relocate kit, Katzkin Leather Seating, Front Window Tint
I finally put a lift on my 2006 PreRunner. Since I don't do any off-roading, I kept my lift on the smallish side. I went with Bilstein 5100's on all four corners with the fronts set at 0. I replaced the stock front springs with a set of Eibach's and I installed a set of 1.5" Toytec add a leafs in the rear. I really liked the way it turned out. The ride is more firm but not harsh. The stance of the truck is almost the same stance as before, but just a little taller. It has that PreRunner rake which is fine with me.

This is my stock 2006 PreRunner when I got it last year.

I got 265/75/R16 Bridgestone Dueler's and Sockmonkey graphics a few months later. The new tires made her stand a little taller.

I replaced the stock wheels with Vision 375 Warrior wheels from Discount Tire. I would love to have the FJ Anthracite wheels, instead. Oh, well!!

    th_NikonCard1428_5a57f98ef6d72538f82519208ea734ec41c10b8c.jpg

I changed my Sockmonkey graphics with ones like KPT's and added my lift. I went with the Eibach coils, Bilstein 5100's and Toytec 1.5" TSB add a leafs and 1/4" driver's side spacer .

    th_DSC_0467_61a4e40f772088dc147668175aead5880b6789dc.jpg

Added a Grillcraft with a Land Cruiser grill emblem and a TRD skidplate along the way.

While my PreRunner is 4 years old, it only has 15,500 miles on it! I still hope to change out the fabric seats with leather, maybe upgrade the sound system, and do something about the gray colored nerf bars. Only time and $$$ will tell.

I would like to thank KPT, W8N4MUD, Taco4x4NC and others for their builds that provided the inspiration for my Tacoma.

I know. I don't know why they turned out so small.

Lets see if these come out larger.

This is what my truck looked like stock:

I then added new tires and wheels:

I also changed out the upper and lower grills with the Grillcraft kit. I installed a Landcruiser grill emblem, too.

My latest mod was installing Bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners with Eibach springs up front and Toytec 1.5" add a leafs for TSB springs. I don't have the rear spring TSB, though.

Here is what it looked like with only the front end done:

Here is what it looks like with the lift completed:

I sprayed the grey tubes steps with some rattle can spray on bedliner from Home Depot.

I had forgotten all about this thread. I will post up some Katzkin photos this weekend.

Here are some of the photos of the Katzkin leather that I had installed back in April. I really like the way they turned out. I hated the factory fabric!

Looks awesome! I love mine too. Are the center panels perforated?

No perforation. I was worried that the perforated panels might not hold up very well. The place that installed my leather had some demo seats showing the different type of configurations that were available. The perforated ones showed quite a bit of fraying around the little holes. I tend to hold on to vehicles for at least 10 years and I was concerned how they might look way down the road.

On another note, I have to go to our Fed Ex Express station in Tyler about once a month. When I'm there, I always see the same guy picking up a bunch of Katzkin boxes. I wonder if that is the same guy that installed your leather? I talked to him one day and he said that he had a shop in Longview and one in Tyler, I think.

That's got to be the guy.

Hey next time you are in Tyler, you, me and Derek should grab lunch or something.

Sounds good! Our station is right by the Rudy's BBQ on Loop 323. I always eat there when I'm in Tyler.
