Moving to Tampa

    Does anyone know a good place you can drive on the beach in the Tampa St Pete, Clearwater area. I have medical issues where I can't do anything to rough. I figure that a flat beach would not kill me.

    I didn't have the Taco when I was living down there- but I don't ever remember seeing a truck or buggy or anything on the beaches.
    Everything from Clearwater south to the Sunshine Skyway is tourist land...so there is no way you'd be able to drive out there...I'm not really sure what the deal is to the north...

    Hopefully someone has some better news for you tho....

    there is a spot called gandy beach on the st pete side of the gandy bridge. Its a rather large beach but kinda dirty. You can drive right up to it and wheel around there a little to.
