I just had 4 Wheel Parts installed a stage 1, 6" lift. Im riding on 35/13.0/18 wheels. My taco is a 2011 TRD off road dbl cab. This vibration is occurring around 20-30 mph after I increase the speed it smooths out. It also occurs if I accelerate and then let off the gas in 4hi. Any answers on this problem? The follow up by 4 Wheel parts in OKC,OK Sucks! Im tired of dicking with them if yall know what I mean.

Yes they did the drop by using spacers but did not fix the issue.

I would say tire balance should be checked, +1 for bearing drop..... btw why are you driving around in 4hi worrying about vibration? Not a good idea on dry pavement.... just my .02

LOL No Im not driving around 4hi. Just notice it the other day when I had put it in 4hi for a bit. The tires are well balanced for sure. That vib is coming from the rear or drive line for sure. The funny thing is the 4 wheel said it would never have a vib prob but it did. I was told at one time to go with a 1piece drive shaft and chunck the split drive shaft that the factory puts on them

DO NOT let them sell you a drive shaft. It has nothing to do with vib. There are plenty of guys here with stock parts without a vib. Sounds more like a need of carrier bearing drop.

Does the vib continue if you shift into neutral? I would also check tires for being out of round, they might balance good, but not be true, only a road force or visual test might find a bad tire.... How many miles on your rig? if 15k or so, I would grease the bushings on the u-joints, it helped with my stock 06. Just an idea :)

No they are not just read on here about a drive shaft. There is spacers on the carrier bearing. In the neutral position, I hadnt tried that, but will in the morning. 12k on rig. The pics are posted to look at but will have more. sry about the non rotating of the pics. they were done with the iphone.

Kinda worried now just reading this thread.. I just drop my truck off to have 4 wheel lift it. Same lift, only stage 2. 305/12.5/18. Truck should be done by Saturday. Afraid that I might have the same problem. 2010 access cab 8k on it..
