I imagine the just released 12 inch versions would fit fine with room inbetween for some amps. If you did the 13.5" then amp room would be an issue.

Most of the thin form factor amps (Alpine PDX, JL Audio HD series, Arc Audio KS Mini series) may still fit between boxes, or underneath the front seats.

Where did you see the 12" version?! In any case a pair of 13TW5's can be made to fit as mentioned if you don't mind the amps under the front seat but most folks I have installed them for are pretty surprised at how loud just one can get! :D

I already priced them at a local dealer ( he said they are due out soon ). But just in case that doesn't hold much water. MSRP on it is $50 cheaper than the 13.5.

I think he's yanking your chain a bit. ;) I recently talked to a friend who works for JL and found that the 12 is still in the works (with no release date or price set) and contrary to what I have read on some forums there are no plans for a 10 since the size of the 12 will allow you to put it just about anywhere the 10 would fit. The 12 is also only slightly smaller than the 13TW5 and will require about .61 airspace (.8 for the 13) so his recommendation to me was to go ahead and use a pair of 13TW5's as I intended instead of waiting around for the 12's. :)

I'm guessing you didn't receive my PM reply (or maybe you posted this before I answered! ) and to answer your question yes I do build an enclosure for dual JL 13TW5's in a double cab :) (I'll email the rest of my reply to you shortly in case you didn't get the PM).

That is a sweet box. How much for a box that will fit one JL 13TW5 in a double cab?

Thanks! :) Are you referring to one like the design below or do you have something else in mind? In any case drop me a line or give me a call with specifics and I'll see what we can come up with!

    Mr Marv,

That single sub box is actually what I'm looking for. Can you PM on price?
