You would get treated like any Canadian!
A contractor we had (from the US) got his finger smashed and didn't have any insurance was treated with no questions asked. Just had to wait two hours to get treated.

Each BCBS is independant from each other BCBS carrier.

Good to know. I have BCBS and will be in Vancouver later this month. This will be my third visit to the city. We have a day to sightsee before boarding a cruize to Alaska.

    Thanks! :oldglory: :canada:

I wonder if that was just a busy hospital? :notsure: Even when we bring people in on the ambulance we sometimes will hug the wall for 2 hours - even with criticals.
That's awesome. I feel better now about planning a Canadian visit.

some people hate that we have to wait but i would rather wait a few hours than get turned down after an entire day then fly home to get fixed.

All the ER's down here have a long wait. It's rare that there isn't. And you are right - I certainly would rather wait too. Are your hospitals always busy? Do they get flooded with a lot of BS?

tons of BS, when I went for stitches there was about 15 people in the waiting room of the ER, two people (including myself) were visibly injured.

Not getting paid to golf, getting paid while golfing. We have lots of work coming up, not much electrical for me to do right now. I get paid 8 hrs per day as long as it's not my fault that I'm not working, one of a few perks of working for my old man.
