    To all of your posts. MJ is right. ATO makes nice products but it's not like it's some complex design. It's a few pieces of stamped steel and some bolts.

    Not to mention, for the past few months it seems like I've seen non-stop hostility from you. Easy tiger!

    Yeah well that's not me. :) I don't have the skills or the tools. And it would cost me way more than $70 to get the tools, not to mention the time to learn how to use them. So for me the ATO mounts were worth every penny. Were they expensive compared to materials cost? Sure. But hey .. supply and demand. Capitalism at it's finest. When there's nobody producing a comparable product, you get to set your price. And a whole lot of us gladly paid.

    haha you're not the only member to ht me up for a pair. Thing is, I'm not one to undercut a vendor. Plus I just don't have the time right now. I just made one because I'm too cheap for the $70.

    Don't need to make any. Strap my hi-lift to my waffle boards. ;)

    If I did though, I've got a break, plasma, torch, 110, 220, stick, tig, mig, air arc, band saw, belt sander, I could knock some out in an hour. It's really beside the point. 70 dollars is fucking expensive for a non-engineered piece of stamped steel, and really I don't care what ATO charges. I just won't buy this, but I don't know who you think you are, but don't sit there and jack everyone off and try to justify that price and blow up at anyone who thinks it's overly expensive or expresses any disagreement with you.

    Like I said, lot's of hostility...

    I guess I looked over this noob comment. The raw materials is what's cheap. It's the CNC cutting and bending of the steel that costs $$. I spent $3 at the steel shop, granted mine are only 1/8" and ATO's is probably 3/16" but I can imagine 1/16" more will still be under $5. Either way 1/8" is plenty thick for the hi-lift
