IMO tube is stronger than plate. IF you want to see pic's of how bent and folded my 3/16ths plate is i could show you. Tube has more structure to it than just plate over the top of a frame. That being said i think tube bumper look like ass on these trucks i really dont care to see the radiator or other ugly body parts through the tube. If i ever get around to building a new front bumper i will be using Square tube in battleship fashion.

Never seen a well built tube bumper bend only dent just saying. Never managed to bend a slider which is made of tube. i have seen ARB,ALLPRO, My own CBI plate, all bend and fold up like tin cans. Not saying they are bad products just saying its only as good as the materials you put into it (the same goes for tube).

Yes if you have pics I would like to see them. I was thinking of getting a hybrid style and just adding some plates here and there to fill in the gaps. I would like to see that new one you want to build when it is done sounds like it will look good.

Well I am 4x4 and the plate style looks great on them but they are heavy. The tube style well I can get used of the looks and it is light.

LMAO drugs, hookers, and tacos I like your style.

Man I would hate myself forever if I ever did something like that. Now those do not look bad but like I said I would have to fill in some of the gaps.

Mudbug I agree with you on that if I get a plate it will be one of those two guys that makes it.

How about plate in Aluminum? Good protection, good looks, light weight. Probably the most expensive option but the most benefits.

That was an option and still is. I like the one that Relent fab has but it is a lot of money.

I do think that LT trucks look sick with the tube bumpers. I have seen a 2nd gen LT 4x4 with a plate and it looks good too.
