Thanks to boyd for helping with the snorkel install yesterday. Got there around 4, left at 2 am.

I kind of imagine that hell is like an infinite number of those god damn plastic square clips that toyota uses for the splash guard... that you have to remove.

i dont understand what you mean by risking the deductiible. if you didn't cause it, you dont pay it. i just went through it and am going through it again. if you caused it, then yes, you would be responisble for the deductible. let the ins company deal with the bs. btw, this is a long process and can take weeks if not longer than a couple months

Liberty Mutual told me that if I go through them, I can pay the deductible and have my car fixed now at the expense of Liberty Mutual. Then, Liberty Mutual will go after the other insurance company for the repairs and the deductible. They said most of the time they get the deductible back but it's not guaranteed. They said the other option is they (Liberty Mutual) will help me file with the other guys insurance but they don't know how long it'll take to get things fixed and they can't guarantee the outcome.

I definitely agree with what you're saying and that's the thing that pisses me off the most is that I was minding my own business and it may end up costing me money.

I woke up today to a nice surprise.. My cb stuff was at my front door. Unfortunately, the coax connector that is supposed to come with it, was not in the box and they can't mail a new one til Tuesday. I tried radio shack and a few marine stores and they dont have it either. Guess I won't be able to adjust the swr and see how it works til next week sometime.

I got the Wilson 1000 and cobra 75. Wilson 1000 is a roof mount so I had to drill a 3/4" hole in the roof and route the coax along the headliner and down behind the dash. Can't wait to see how it works...

Yea, it's driveable. That's not a bad idea. It's funny I was going to wash it this weekend but now it seems pointless.lol

Yea I'm not able to go this weekend, so we'll have to plan a trip towards the end of the month or sometime in august. I'll need to try out my new armor

Finally decided on shocks.. Thanks for the advice boyd and anthony.
I called Down South today and talked to Marco. I ordered the Fox extended travel shocks with 700# king coil springs on the front. Also ordered the DSM UCA's.. we'll see how they do.

For the rear I ordered longer shocks so I can do new leaf packs and lift it a bit.
I'm thinking about the all pro leaf pack, and also the u bolt flip kit with new bump stops front and rear.

Anyone have any experience with the all pro leaf packs? and can they be used with their u bolt flip kit?

Thats ok.. I was going to wait a little bit since I just spent over 2 grand on shocks.

Why Expo pack over the regular one? I think the expo pack is designed for heavier loads? wouldnt that make it a little more rough? Also it says will add an inch more than advertised when used on an empty truck.. So i'll have a 4" lift in the rear and only 3 in the front

yea but the way i understand their write up on the website... a "loaded" truck is like.. an expedition vehicle.. bed rack with roof top tent, all kinds of other shit..

most of the time my bed is empty except for the tool box and hi lift jack
