    Good luck with all this....I have 124 jumps and one of them was a combat jump, kicked in doors and cleared thousands of buildings while spending just over 3 years in Iraq and Afghanistan. All that and I was denied any benefits for knee and back injuries...at my last duty station I spent 6 months at a clinic working on rehabing my knee. I sent in an appeal a year ago and still no reply....at least I got 10% for my hearing, not wearing ear plugs in a fire fight. good times. Once again good luck!

    I really hate to hear stories like this and the best to you. All I can say is keep pounding on the VA's door and also keep appealing.

    FWIW ... a DoD PEB tried to rate me at 10% at medical discharge time and I would not accept it and appealed.
    You have to take on DoD and/or VA being candid & very persistant. Also, sorry to say, be prepared to appeal and wait them out if necessary.

    Again, good luck to you and keep us posted on what happens.
