Only bad weld is one that dosnt hold. If your shit breaks, learn a lesson and re build. I would rather have strong welds instead of pretty welds.

Your supposed to clean off areas your welding. Not just weld over all of the grease and dirt. Looks like the rear portion of the weld on the last pic already fell off lol

I didn't say they look like anything. Just give the kid a break. If they hold up, they are strong. If his fckn axle folds under his truck at 70. Then give him hell. He will learn.

Eh, gotta disagree with you there. If he gets enough crap such that he fixes his goo-poo JB-looking welds BEFORE his truck shits itself on the trail -- or, even worse, on the highway -- that's a good thing.

X2 yeah if his axle folds at 70 he's endangering other people on the road. I'm all for doing your own work be if it becomes a road hazard it's time to let the pros do it. I would understand if this was a trail rig who gives a shit but it's on the high way and it's not safe for road use as it sits.

LOL. Almost wheeling worthy? Mighty putty will probably hold better than those welds. Now I understand why you claim it was a $3000 build.

Hope your alternator seconds as an arc welder.... You're gonna have some fixing to do if you wheel on anything other than a dirt road.

Bring it on up to the Rubicon. Let's test it out!
