Next how are u getting through the fire wall doesnt seem to be any room?
And last where are u mounting the switch it seems like in the cab I have like 4spots to put a switch that looks the same as my fog lights how does it where how do u get it out?

Regarding the firewall, theres a black plug just to the left of the steering column that you can run the wires thru..I used a coat hanger and poked a hole in it to run the wires..

I dont know much about getting trough the fire wall with wires. but once you buy a switch, the blocks( the covers that dont do anything on the dash) pop out towards you.

snap off the "pocket" closest to the drivers door and then put your hand behind the dash and poke it out.

your toyota dealer may have some. Junk yard...?

but you probably need to get some that can hold/stand that voltage.... the toyota switches might not cut the dough....

pull that small compartment out that allows access to the fuse box. Just reach up and pop the insert out.

with the running of the wires, i can take some pics tonight with a flashlight if you would like, or i can take in the morning

I just did this a few months back. I can try and snap a few pictures of MY install if you would like? I installed a KC light bar with 4 Hella 500 lights and two switches in the cab.

Please update. Does not fit 05+ Tacoma | Aug 03, 2008
    Reviewer: Jeffrey Kim (Cerritos, CA)
I've been looking for a switch to fit my 07 Tacoma and I was so happy when I found this switch that supposedly fits Tacomas but when I finally got it, no matter what I tried it wouldn't get into my Tacoma. I ended up having to shave my dash -________- The screw terminals are a real pain too.

    Does not fit 2005+ Tacoma | Nov 19, 2007
    Reviewer: Robert (Orange County, CA)
I was excited to find someone who had a rocker switch that fit into a Tacoma, unfortunately when I received mine, it was a little too large for my '05. You might want to update your description. Otherwise it was very high quality, something I would be very happy with in my truck. The only improvement I could possibly think of is the click sound it makes when engaged, could be softer, but thats just me being picky. =)
