Aftermarket tail lights

This is true, most people don't know this

 

They do look good with the black and white..........

Just got me a set of these to go on the 08. Like how the turn sig is yellow and rev is clear. Hoping the LED "daisy" is dark like in the pics but at least there is a chrome bumper for it to go with on this truck............

I got the black and chrome led lights off E-Bay tinted the brake and signal area red and then very light black over everything. I am really happy with the outcome, at night they look black and during the day look dark red. I already got a ticket for tinted stock tails, I don't think the cops will hastle me for these. Also the brake lights are insanely bright, when it is dark they project 5 foot red circles on my garage.

 

i bought some led ones off ebay, mine work good, seam brighter too

i think kpt may have the same ones

and mine has the yellow turn signal too, others just change to red

but the chrome circles are kinda annoying, but i guess they match my lug nuts

 

These are the ones I went with. Hoping the chrome daisy looks smoked like it does in this pic but if it doesn't, at least I have chrome bumper, wheels, grill trim, emblems and white paint. It'll be OK either way. Still like them better than the black'd out clear lense ones I had on the 05.

 

yea i remember i saw those, i think mine may be a lil diferent, i got mine from ebay too, but it was a company in LA so i could show up and return them if i needed to, but i dont

 

I like the idea of the smoked part on the daisy but not crazy about the rev being smoked. Guess you just can't have everything..........all the time.

 

I kinda like the ones in the OP. Not sure why, but they remind me of the new 4Runner. I cracked one of my LEDs and might just go ahead and pick a set up.

 

I went with Genspec on my first gen truck. They look stock, but are a totally different design from the originals. They don't look Euro at all. They are LED brake/tail lights with LED side markers as a bonus. I also upgraded the blinkers and reverse lights to high power LEDs from Sixity on eBay. I get a lot of strange looks from a lot of people. I love my all-LED truck.

I'm thinking about buying these as well. Description on the website says they fit 05-07, but your truck is an 08. Was it plug-and-play w/ no mods necessary? If so, will they fit my 2011 as well?

Those look cool, like how you left the rev untinted^^^^^^^^ Mine came and the daisy is chrome, unlike the pic above a few posts. Was hoping but not counting on it being smoked. Still like them more than the blk/clear ones on the 05 and the stock 08s. They go with the BLHM headlights so I'm OK widdit.
