Has anyone used one of these?
It seems to get really good reviews. Does anyone know if it would work with the outlet in the bed. I have some projects coming up and this would be very handy. It pulls 10 AMPs from what I have found out.

I've used one at work. I don't think it will work with the bed outlet. We had an 8000effort lb piece of equipment on a 5500street lb rated pallet jack the took 4 of us to move. The next one we used the warn and it worked like a charm. It is a light duty winch though.

 

Absolutely not even close to working on the outlet in the bed.

 

A regular wall outlet has a maximum of 15A ratings I believe. No way you'll get even close to 10 out of the bed. Damn that would be nice though

 

That is what I figured. I heard good things about this winch. I think I am going to go with a manual winch then. It will handle more weight and be cheaper. I was hoping to be able to use it to pull things up onto a trailer by using the outlet in the bed.
Now I know.

how big of things are you trying to pull onto the trailer. why not a smaller ATV 12VDC winch?
