A little protection for the supertop windows. Pipe insulator for 3/4" pipe. Used about 6 feet. Got an 8" piece for $1.69

 

thats actually a great idea. Didnt even think about it. Going to pick some up today.


Does it bulge outside when you look at the windows? I hate how right it has a small bulge on thw window right where the "T" is in the picture.

Edit: Does it affect it when you put the top down?

no additional bulging but it does still bulge a little at that same spot, but no more than before i put the foam on. i was worried about the metal wearing away at the windows more than anything and the pivot pin in that spot was right on the plastic and getting rusty.

i have not tried putting it down with the foam on, or without it for that matter, it has been up since i got it. i didnt get the self stick / tape type so i could easily pull it off if i wanted to.

good good, as long as it doesnt bulge more then im fine with it. I'm also worried about it wearing away at the window but nothing I can really do about it.

I'll do it today and see how well everything goes down with the foam.
