New "Bongiovi Digital Power Station" available in Canada!!!

Seems like Toyota Canada just released a pretty cool little module that converts the stereo into pure digital signals regardless of the input source. Did a couple reviews and so far people are amazed at the difference it makes. But only available in Canada on new 2011 models and up. Think I'm gonna stop by a dealer and hear the difference for myself. What you guys think? Here's the link:

My dealer had 2 of the same vehicle in the show room one with and the other without. It sounds really good. I would not pay the dealer to install. It is a couple of plugs and and a mounting so pretty easy. Now do I pay the cash or not. Very tempted. I truck arrives next week.

 

try the computer itunes plug in. seems to work pretty awesome. does anyone know how to install this in my 2011 Taco SR5?

 

From what I have seen at the dealer it is just plug and play. They only allow one hour for install so that tells me it can be done in 30-45 mins.

My dealer had the demo unit in a corrola and the DPS was just sitting in the glove box with a harness running to the radio. My guess is the most work is to take apart the dash and get to the back of the radio. Then mount the bracket for the unit plug and play. I am really tempted to get this myself. Might be on my mid summer toy list.

 

I just installed the Bon Giovi DPS in my 2011 Tacoma Double Cab TRD and it sounds good!!!! I have the instructions in PDF if anyone needs them just PM me.

 

Does anyone know if it can be installed in the Canadian 2011 SR5 model?

 

I don't see why not. The install document says "2010- " ..and I have it in my 2011. I can't see how it'd be any different in the SR5 vs the TRD... I think we have the same head unit.
