Right on. That is what the site is all about (well, and copious amounts of derp). I still haven't installed mine. It looks pretty basic, but more a PITA just because where it is.

Thanks for the business Micah, everything went pretty smooth, and looks nice too!!

Those are some beefy coilovers, have fun brotha!!

Hopefully I will have the coilovers for my Jeep soon so I can custom make all the bracketry, and then I will have 12" coilovers all the way around on it for some real offroading, the stock suspension leaves a lot to be desired...

I had the same exact issue that you did: in prepping for a long trip, I went to get my truck aligned, they pointed out my steering rack bushings needed replacing and therefore it was pointless to align it, etc... I *just* finished up with this, like, two days ago.

And it worked, although I didn't have a clue what I was doing. If you're still struggling with the old bushing removal, cut the rubber flange off of one side and tap it out the other direction. (I removed my skid plate, but didn't need to remove my sway bar or tie rod end).

Three things that made a difference for me: yep, the upper bolt on the passenger side was a bit of a trick. I finally just gently bent the brake line a little out of the way and got to it that way.

Second, once I got the bolts out, I used a short pry-bar to help maneuver the whole rack around, and lastly, when I did get the new bushings in and was ready to put it back in place, I had to use my bottle jack to help raise it up high enough to put the thing back in. (It would have been simpler to take the tie rod end and sway bar off). But it worked out.

Don't forget: there are *two* large flat washers to reinstall on the driver's side, one in front and one aft.

People are here to help, so give a shout if you get stuck!

^ what he said about the sway bar. If you disconect it in the front you can spin it up out the the way without taking the whole thing off (if you do you will break the bolts that hold it on 100%) That is if you want to use an impact gun if you dont have one shouldnt be a problem.

Most of my suspension bits came in today except for my Wheelers 3 leaf progressive AALs, I'll be installing everything I got tommorrow and painting my wheels and also my new tailgate! Hopefully I can get all of that done in one day.
