hey guys- im the "girlfriend" that sews in the photo above and i am honored by all the generous compliments...we are very proud of our design and its application. We are working out the patent as it is different from any on the market. We camped comfortably for 6 weeks and weathered through a major thunderstorm on its virgin trip...this was the test trip to work out any kinks in the design. I would be happy to custom make one for any of you. If you are interested please email wingnutt directly to his page with contact information and we will follow up...its was not as simple to make as you may think ...i just made it look so :)

I have an ex-wife but no kids. And there's no such thing as alimony in Texas. :bananadance:

But, of the two of us, I was the one that made 90% of the money... So now that I'm single I have a lot more disposable income... :)

How does it hold up against water creeping in from the sides? It looks awesome and i would love to have something like that for camping, just wondering if water can seep in from the sides and make it so you were sleeping in a puddle? Or does it stick out the side a little and allow the water to run down the tents sloped walls? I am not criticizing, i just am seriously thinking about getting one if you come online with them and want to know b4 i set my sights on it. Thanks for the info.

The original truck is a short bed...the tent is made for the tail gate being down and the short bed is 6 feet 6 inches long with the tail gate lowered...plenty long enough for the vast majority of people.
